Christ in Who?

 Christ's In who?

Not just me - but you.
The hope of Glory.

There is a glory that belongs to all of creation, that includes every person on the planet - and this glory is what all of creation longs for.

Glory just simply means someone’s opinion or view of you, in this instance it’s God’s view of you, which is better than good, it's gold, the highest standard possible. In other words, it’s how God sees us - and this is the correct way that we should see others.

I thank God for the revelation of Christ in me; when my heart awakened to this truth that God didn’t live in a distant galaxy somewhere in outer space, but he chose to tabernacle in me, my heart was elated with joy - when I found out that he had arrived and was living in me, I thought I had arrived…lol.

However, ‘Christ in Me’ is only part of the story. It’s when I realized that Christ is in you - that's when it all came into focus. Everyone we encounter is a “Christ In You” person, the hope of glory Colossians 1:27.

Hebrews 8:11 informs us “for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.” That means from Hollywood to the homeless, to the crack addict on skid row to the wizards of wall street, from the poorest of the poor in Calcutta India to the fifthly rich rolling the dice in Las Vegas, all shall know me.

Jesus said: “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me Matthew 25:40 - Jesus included himself in the whole of humanity, especially with the poor and the outcast.

Our world view changes when we begin to see Christ in others. We see them then as belonging to as opposed to apart from. We see them with value, with a sense of purpose, connecting ourselves with them as part of God’s divine plan. God’s ultimate design for living is for all to love one another as he loves us; and that includes us loving our enemies.

So, the next time you, me, we see that person who we may not consider having much value; just remember that they contain a holy treasure within, the hope of glory. They may not ever recognize it unless someone else see’s it in them first and honor’s them with the good news of what they possess.

Christ in me is only part of the story. Christ in you completes the story of our divine union bringing honor (glory) to all creation.

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea Habakkuk 2:14.”
